Ohlone Athletes Benefit from Proceeds
FREMONT, Calif., September 08, 2009 - Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co. (GROCO) is pleased to announce that they are a proud Gold Sponsor of the 25th Annual Fremont Bank and Ohlone College Golf Tournament. This year’s event will be held at the Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton on Monday, September 21st.
Not only will the day be full of golfing, but it will also include a barbeque lunch, putting contest, raffle, and live auction. All proceeds will benefit the Ohlone College Student Athletics Program to help provide facility upgrades, money for travel, equipment and uniforms. This will give student athletes opportunities to pursue their athletic and education goals.
Participating in community events, such as this, has always been important to Alan Olsen, managing partner at Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co. He said, “Part of being a business leader means giving back to the community. We are happy to support Ohlone College and their athletics program.” Olsen is also a member of the adjunct Business Administration faculty at Ohlone College where he teaches Accounting.
