FORMER DEAN OF HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL TO SPEAK IN PLEASANTON, CA, ON SATURDAY, APRIL 24th

President Kim B. Clark will speak at the “2010 Distinguished Public Service Award Dinner”

FREMONT, Calif., April 6, 2010 - Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., LLP, (GROCO) is proud to join friends of the Harvard Business School, the BYU Management Society and others to cordially invite you to attend this year’s fascinating “2010 Distinguished Public Service Award Dinner” honoring President Kim B. Clark.

Alan L. Olsen, Managing Partner of GROCO, stated; “President Clark is one of our countries most influential business leaders”. He joined the Harvard faculty in 1978 and served as Dean of the Faculty at Harvard Business School from 1995 to 2005. He received B.A. (1974), M.A. (1977), and Ph.D. (1978) degrees in economics from Harvard University. In 2005 he left Harvard Business School (HBS) to accept the role of President at Brigham Young University-Idaho.

While at HBS, important innovative new initiatives were launched, in entrepreneurship, information technology, globalization, Leadership and Values. His research focused on modularity in design and the integration of technology and competition in industry evolution, with a particular focus on the computer industry. He and Carliss Baldwin are co-authors of the book on the topic entitled Design Rules: The Power of Modularity (MIT Press, 2000). Earlier research focused on technology, productivity, product development, and operations strategy.
