LOCAL CPA, ALAN L. OLSEN, PRESENTS ON COUNTRY'S ECONOMIC FUTURE
Managing Partner of Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co. speaks at National Economic Summit
AFTON, Wyoming, July 9, 2009 - Are you concerned about the current state of the economy? How will it affect your children? What opportunities lie ahead? A panel of national economic experts including Alan L. Olsen, managing partner of Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co. (GROCO), addressed these questions head on at the “Economic Summit 2009 Conference.”
The summit conference, held in Star Valley, Wyoming, attracted over 200 individuals from all over the country. Olsen was invited to be the key note speaker at the event. He stated, “There have always been economic hardships, but in the midst of these recessions, companies have always emerged.” At the conference, individuals began to see the hope that the future holds, despite the struggles of the current economy.
“We often hear of the baby boomers,” stated Olsen. “Sixty to eighty percent of the work force will be leaving within the next 15 years. This doesn’t present problems, but opportunities.”
Olsen sat on a panel of economic experts who also spoke at the conference including Michael Lee, Consultant and Principal with Thomas Weisel Partners, LLC and Jeffery D. Black, Managing Partner in Partner Vision Capital and Partner Vision Ventures. These individuals discussed how the economy fell into its current condition and what the future holds in store for it.
When discussing what needs to happen to improve the economy, Black stated, “The goal is to identify, stabilize and cure problems that no one else wants to solve.”
The Conference inspired those who attended. “There are opportunities out there if you look,” said Brandon Andrews, conference attendee. “The economy is not hopeless.”

Individuals left realizing the reality of the opening remarks of the conference, “Opportunity is the master of human destiny, especially in times of recession.”
