Tax Manager
We seek an experienced Tax Manager, who will help to develop the practice for the High Net-Worth individual, including the Estate, Trust and Gift, tax side of the business and who will attract the talent to work on such engagements. A high energy, entrepreneurial, proactive individual, this person will be part of our firm-wide team that will provide tax and wealth management services and personal financial planning to High Net-Worth individuals. The candidate will support the firm’s strategic direction and focus to be the Firm of Choice by developing and maintaining strong client relationships; implementing new technical standards; expanding client services; managing risk, billable hours, and practice development.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing the tax department and supervising staff
- Providing technical expertise to clients and staff
- Negotiating fees and billing
- Overseeing the engagement process from start to finish
- Ensuring deliverables and meeting client deadlines
- Maintaining strong client relationships and help cultivate new clientele
- Working successfully in a team environment
Qualifications / Requirements
- 7+ years of tax experience
- Sound technical skills and analytical judgment
- Proven management and organizational skills
- CPA designation
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor staff.
- Bachelors degree in accounting (Master's degree preferred)
