Senior Accountant

Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co., LLP is an established and well-respected CPA firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in Fremont and Palo Alto. Our practice focuses on providing state-of-the-art tax services to high net worth individuals, mid-market enterprises and their owners. Our firm is seeking a tax senior accountant who is seeking a position with significant client contact and long-term growth potential.

Responsibilities Include

• Preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary income tax returns.
• Tax research.
• Development of effective and efficient tax minimization strategies for a variety of clients.
• Monitoring the implementation of year-end tax plans.
• Support of client accounting concerns, such as QuickBooks, OWP, etc.
• Maintenance of relationships with long-term clients and their advisors.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Masters of Science in Taxation or CPA (any state).
• 3 to 5 years quality public accounting experience, preferably Big Four.
• Significant experience with corporate and individual tax returns.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word.
• CCH ProSystem and BNA Income Tax Planner proficiency is a plus.
• Superior communication and writing skills and general business savvy.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.

This is a full-time salaried position requiring approximately 10% overtime, primarily during the busy season. Salary is based on experience and credentials. Our compensation package includes a 401(k) plan, cafeteria plan, health insurance, liberal vacation and holidays, as well as bonuses for business development.
